Removing Carbon Dioxide from the Air: Announcement of the Carbon Dioxide Removal Launchpad

The event will formally announce the “CDR Launchpad”, a coalition of countries who have committed to work collectively to advance carbon dioxide removal projects. Member countries commit to build a 1,000+ tonne/year CDR project by 2025 and share data from these projects. The Launchpad is a ‘sprint’ of the Mission Innovation CDR Mission, which was launched at COP26 last year.
